It's been a while since I've posted about any Blender or animation related stuff on here, having moved onto other pursuits these days. But tonight, I'm going to briefly break my silence to link to the following demo clip for an addon that I've gotta say is pretty awesome looking!
Well done to everyone involved in making this happen! Very nicely done! Simple yet effective 😍
Seeing this brings to mind many memories from the past.
In particular, from back in 2009-ish IIRC, when I stumbled across a copy of Richard Williams' "Animators Survival Kit" in the University Bookstore. (I really should've bought myself a copy of it back then, as I *could* afford it back then, but then procrastinated, and then they stopped stocking it after the quakes!)
I used to really like heading there and flipping through that book - especially seeing the combination of all those timing charts AND the ghost frames. I always thought it would be really cool seeing such timing charts appearing a 3D workspace to be used for adjusting timing + spacing of motion along the paths that it should take. You know... the "AnimViz" panel and stuff related to that all came about after seeing all those lovely sketches and feeling rather inspired by them.
