Hagley Park - Autumn Afternoon
After several days of cold and damp weather, we had a calm, fine autumn day again today. With such nice sunlight, I had a wander around the Botanic Gardens again, trying to capture that elusive way that the sunlight tends to interact with leaves, but also the colours of autumn.
These egg-shaped hedges were quite a sight! When I first saw them, they gave me flashbacks to the first character I created in 3d: a green, egg-shaped bird (roughly, a cross between a parrot and a kakapo) that I called "Greenstone". Seeing these bushes, I couldn't help but imagine a shot where traffic-cones suddenly pop out, forming beaks, before they proceed to rock back and forth and look at each other.
